My word for 2026 is PRAYER.

I find it so moving that instead of “reaching outward” or “seeking” this word/vibration— I am finding it nestled within me. In my heart and in my hands.

I am realizing how much Prayer envelops my life and practice. Prayer is woven into everything I touch… mojo bags, oils, candles, divination tools, womb steams, sheets, towels, bundling of herbs and so on.

My life is a living Prayer.

I am so looking forward to expanding my devotion to Prayer this year.

This Cancerian lunation felt like an emotional tide reset. I witnessed where water within me wanted to be freed. So I released them—back to their origins, carried by the rain, rememebered by the soil and swept up by the stormy winds. Chapters complete. Books closed.

A great cleansing that reached soul, bone and womb deep.

Somewhere in all this, I am also packing my beloved studio. Raising my anchor to set sail on a new adventure. What a beautiful layered life this himan thing is. What a blessing.

Standing at the threshold of a new calendar year.

I have resisted the celebrations of December 31st for a few years now. Mainly because I feel deep resonance in the seasonal new year in March. But alas, my beloved Ancestors whose Baptist, rootworkin’, Hoodoo and Conjuring souls enrich my walk— have spoken. I am seeding new rituals, have attended to all of my Altars and am uplifting my African-American heritage that empowers my walk in all ways. I am feeling rich beyond measure.

Blessed be the roads ahead for us all. Yuletide love to you, as the wheel turns and doors open 🥂🕯️

Deep Dive ‘Sanctuary’ Sessions 🌀 Coming 2026

This offering is an ode to my old, ancient and vine covered soul.

It is an ode to a time when you would hear about the person who could help you through conversation (and maybe riddle). A time when you would wander through the elements to come upon the dwelling of the Soul whose path was to serve those in need. A time when your doorknock was answered by warmth and an invitation to come in a sit. A time where there were no titles, certifications or institutions validating the offerings you were to receive… just the knowing in your gut.

Sanctuary sessions are unlike anything else I offer and they honestly intimidate me. These sessions break the mold of most things I have learned, seen, been taught and ‘think’ I know. Sanctuary sessions render me down to my purest form and exalt me at the same time. To meet you at a level to provide soul quenching and bone depth healing.

Sanctuary Sessions are 3hrs or 6hrs and will be seasonally offered. The sun cycle cadence honors this work as a resource that has it’s own flow.
