Just when I was on the brink of questioning everything about humanity, life took a sudden, unexpected turn. I lost a dear friend, then two, and for a while, I wasn’t sure how to keep going. It was the strangest year of 17 in business—maybe because it was a political year, too? Regardless, I knew I needed to shake up the snowball and reset my path.
In that space of feeling lost, I made the decision to change everything—but only for a season.
Then, as if by magic, my mom whisked me away to Mexico City for Día de los Muertos—a time of remembrance, connection, and celebration of life. We explored as much of the city as we could, from the Anthropological Museum to the famous parade, to the many gorgeous, vibrant neighborhoods that make the city so rich with culture. It was a much-needed breath of fresh air and a beautiful reminder of how life moves in cycles. 🌸💀✨
I landed a seasonal job as Coordinator for the , SYRCL’s largest fundraiser, of which my term ended last week, and it was so inspiring to work with a team of passionate, purpose-driven people. It’s a reminder that sometimes, life leads us to the places we need most when we least expect it. 🌍✨
Alongside all of this, I’ve rediscovered my deep passion for the services I offer. In this time of uncertainty, it feels more important than ever to provide what I do, and to hold the prayer for healthcare reform close to my heart. I feel called to continue this work, and I’m open to the opportunities that lie ahead in that space, alongside . 💧🙏
And, as if the universe knew what I needed, dear family & friends—old and new—have shown up for me in the most magical ways. Their love, support, and belief in me have rekindled the spark I thought I’d lost. 💛
Life is unpredictable, and though the road hasn’t been easy, I’m ready to embrace this new chapter with open arms & an open heart. Thank you to everyone who’s been there, and here’s to the beautiful journey ahead. 🙏
