📦 Fill the Box for Movers for Moms was Amazing! 💜

This past Saturday at Kroger on Highway 72, our community showed up in such an incredible way. So many shoppers took the time to purchase items and drop them in the box, helping us collect essential donations for the women and children staying at the Downtown Rescue Mission.

Because of your generosity, moms and their children will receive everyday items that bring comfort, support, and care as they work to rebuild their lives. It was so special to see people go out of their way to give back.

🎹 We’re in need of an electric piano!

Our worship services regularly use a piano, and we’re currently looking for an electric piano with weighted keys to help support this special time. If you or someone you know has one they would be willing to donate, it would be such a blessing to our ministry.

This instrument would be used often and make a meaningful impact during worship for the men, women, and children we serve.

📦 Fill the Box for Movers for Moms! 💜

We’re excited to be partnering with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Huntsville AL for their annual Movers for Moms campaign to collect essential items that will benefit the women and children staying at the Downtown Rescue Mission. Join us at Kroger on Highway 72 in Huntsville from 10 AM – 3 PM to help fill the box with donations. These items will go directly to mothers and their children staying at the Downtown Rescue Mission, providing support, comfort, and everyday essentials for families working to rebuild their lives.

We had an amazing Good Friday service as we reflected on the meaning of the cross. Pastor Ricky shared a powerful message that reminded us of the depth of God’s love and the hope we have through Him. ❤

Thank you to the Leadership Greater Huntsville, Connect 28 Group for selecting the Downtown Rescue Mission as their project beneficiary and for installing a beautiful new gazebo for our men’s program participants!

This space will serve as a place of refuge where the men in our program can read, relax and focus on their studies. Your investment is helping create an environment that supports growth, restoration and hope.
