Recently, Council Member David Little had the honor of presenting HEALS, Inc. with funds from the District 2 Council Improvement Fund to support the delivery of medical, dental, and optometry care to underserved children in Huntsville. ❤️‍🩹🩺

HEALS, Inc. works in partnership with local school systems and healthcare providers to offer accessible, school-based health services for children and helping bridge critical gaps in care across our community.

HEALS, Inc. is entering an exciting new chapter.

We have officially restructured our board leadership as part of our journey toward becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike (FQHC-LA). This change strengthens our mission and supports long-term access to medical, dental, and optometry care for children in North Alabama.

Our new structure includes:
✅ Governing Board of Directors
Led by Board President David Blair of L3 Harris.
Includes patient parents to ensure that family voices guide our decisions.

✅ Foundation Board of Directors
Chaired by Ginger Harper of First Horizon Bank.
Focused on development, partnerships, and community support.

This milestone reflects our commitment to sustainable, high-quality healthcare for the children who need it most.

Oh, what a night!

What an incredible evening we had at STARS Dancing for HEALS 2025! We’re still buzzing from the energy, excitement, and generosity that filled the room.

A huge THANK YOU to our talented dancers, amazing instructors, dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and every single donor who made this year’s event such an incredible success.

Congratulations to our CROWD FAVORITE and TOP CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN, Carter McNeil and his partner, Sofia Ward!!!! Carter raised $193,220!!!!

Together, we raised over $736,957 to support HEALS and provide vital medical, dental, and vision care to children in need across our community!

Mark your calendars! We’ll do it all again on November 12, 2026!
