You were taught that being emotional is a sign of weakness because no one wants to deal with “too many feelings.” So you learned to bottle everything up.

But there is so much power in feeling your emotions. In letting them pierce you, move through you, and then release. That’s healing in motion.

When you allow your body to complete the emotional cycle instead of cutting it short, you honor your humanity not your hurt. 💜🖤
