I will never forget the first time I witnessed this. I was working in a community that offered memory care where a gentleman lived with advanced dementia. I had never heard him speak & assumed he was non verbal. I passed by the dining room right before dinner time & heard him singing Old Rugged Cross. It literally stopped me in my tracks while bringing me to tears. Play their favorite music! 🎵 🎼❤️

At this choir, members with Alzheimer's and dementia may not remember why they're there — but when familiar songs play, something remarkable happens.

THIS Friday is our Sizzlin' Senior Tailgate at Beltone Hearing Aid Center Huntsville in the parking lot. We are excited to see any & all seniors 55+ in the Greater Huntsville/Madison area. Don't forget to RSVP if you haven't already so we can be sure we have enough lunch for everyone who attends. The weather is going to be great... high of 82° with ideal humidity 52%! Come join us... it's the perfect day to Tailgate with us!

Payton, I referred a brother and sister to you yesterday, looking for a place for their mom. I am always happy to tell someone about you - it happens naturally and I think I am naturally enthusiastic. I will always believe you finding that place for Mom was the best thing that happened for her and us in the last 5+ really hard years. I told her that not only would talking to you save them a large amount of time, but they were so much less likely to make a mistake. That is huge to me - all the time we spent visiting and comparing and praying, then chose the best we thought - only to feel like we made a mistake. I texted her your contact information.
