Oakland, there’s an important race happening right now for Mayor. With all the changes happening in our City, we need real leadership that will ensure that Oakland remains affordable, safe, innovative, and that Oakland’s residents have a real say in what happens to our present and our futures.
The current Mayor has shown that she isn’t the leadership Oakland needs. From a rogue police department, to homelessness, to gentrification, the challenges Oakland faces requires someone who has their feet on the ground—not someone with their arm around the shoulders of predatory developers.
