Clearview Cancer Institute is offering this free online group bi-weekly to cancer patients and their caregivers in Northern Alabama being served by any of the healthcare providers and non-profits in the region. This is the same group I've been leading at Stanford Health Care for 10 years. Please like and share, especially with someone you know who is dealing with or survived this disease. A few openings remain for my next 8 Week Stress-Reduction Through Mindfulness Class via Zoom starting April 9th. Not just a bandaid for stress, but a way in to the root cause. More info in the comments below.

I'll be offering an 8 week Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion class starting soon. The class will teach many of the tools and practices that I've been using and sharing at Stanford Health Care, mental health programs and the general public for 7 years.

Here are the details:

STRESS REDUCTION THROUGH MINDFULNESS AND MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION

This class is an opportunity to relax, recharge, connect with like-minded people, and learn the scientifically proven strategies to effectively manage stress. Participants will learn a variety of mindfulness and self-compassion skills that are practical and proven to support wellbeing and resilience.

Course consists of eight 75 minute sessions and a half-day retreat.

Course includes elements of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion.

Written content based on key aspects of course
Daily practices to support you
Access to guided meditation recordings for daily use
