Ryn is a regular at Madison Public Library. Wrigley works at Magnolia Trace - Acts Retirement in Huntsville as well as a P.A.L. reading dog Farley Elementary School

Magnolia Trace celebrated National Hobby Month with a fun Hobby Fair! Residents shared their hobbies and collections and enjoyed seeing the creativity within our community. It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all. 🎨📚🧩

Our Sewing Club set up shop, visiting residents in assisted living (OakBridge Terrace) and skilled nursing (WillowBrooke Court), offering on-the-spot mending and hemming for clothing in need of a little TLC.

The thoughtful help—and the time spent together—meant so much to everyone involved! 🤗✨💙

After nearly four incredible decades of service, Acts has announced an important leadership update.

CEO Gerald T. Grant has informed the Board of Directors of his intention to retire at the end of 2026. He will continue to serve as CEO through the conclusion of his term, maintaining full responsibility for Acts' operations and strategic direction during this planned transition.

The Board has initiated a succession process as part of its comprehensive leadership planning, with a full-year transition timeline designed to ensure continuity and long-term success.

We are deeply grateful for Mr. Grant's nearly 40 years of leadership and impact, and remain fully committed to our mission, our residents, and our stakeholders.

Magnolia Trace residents enjoyed a wonderful overnight Christmas holiday trip to Nashville! 🎄✨

Highlights included a lunch and show aboard the General Jackson Showboat, viewing stunning decorations at the Ga***rd, and a tour of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage home. The trip wrapped up with Afternoon Tea at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens and a mansion tour featuring spectacular holiday décor. It was truly a festive getaway enjoyed by all!

Magnolia Trace residents spent a fun-filled day at La Famiglia Vineyards & Winery in Toney, AL. Owners Tom and Bev shared the story behind their wines, and residents enjoyed tasting their favorites. La Famiglia means “The Family,” and by the end of the visit, we all felt right at home! ❤️✨
