We love getting to know the faces behind the local practices that take care of so many Rocket City families. 🩺✨

If you’re a patient at Advanced OB/GYN, you might already know Leah Bowler, CRNP. She’s a Huntsville native who moved back home a while ago after practicing in Florida, and we love that she chose to plant her roots and raise her daughter right here where she grew up! 🏠❤️

Leah is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (with degrees from UGA and Emory!) who is known for being incredibly compassionate and down-to-earth. Whether you’re seeing her for an OB visit or your annual GYN checkup, it’s always nice to have a provider who feels like a neighbor. 👩‍⚕️👋

It’s so great to see local students come back home to care for our community! 🌷

Our very own Dr. McIntosh delivered the first baby of 2026 at Crestwood!

We are thrilled to welcome our first baby of the New Year, sweet Kathryn “Kit”! 💕 Kit made her grand entrance at 12:03 a.m. on January 1, bringing joy to proud parents Lindsay and Spencer, and joining big sister, Charlotte.

This birth was extra special for our team, as mom, Lindsay, is one of our own Labor & Delivery nurses! She was surrounded by friends and co-workers, as well as Dr. Kevin McIntosh, OB/GYN, as she welcomed her newest little one into the world.

Congratulations to the entire family! We’re honored to be part of such a special moment! 🍼✨

In order to allow our staff to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families, we will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 26th and will not reopen until Monday, December 1st. Please keep in mind that we always have on-call coverage if you're in need. However, always go to the nearest emergency room or dial 911 if you're experiencing a medical emergency! Have a great Thanksgiving!

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*** Our electronic medical records system is experiencing an outage which is preventing us from being able to access patient charts and other systems. There may be delays in responding to calls as a result of the outage. We have been ensured that they are working on the issue, but we do not yet know when our normal operations will resume.
