There are plenty of surprised looks when they hear that there's a therapy cat in the building! Nugget has his special car carrier that his handler uses to safely transport him to and from events.
Nugget is one special kitty that loves to be loved on. This week he was UAH M. Louis Salmon Library for Finals week.

Holly, a three year old Standard Poodle, made her debut at Studio 60 with handler/chauffeur Caroline at her side. Holly joins her sister Fiona, another Standard Poodle, as a Therapy Partners team. Holly also works with her dad, Milan.

Our first visit to Randolph's Upper School was a huge success. Our four therapy dog teams visited with well over 150 students and faculty. There were so many happy faces and requests for us to come again. We love when we can help students relieve stress during final exams. Many thanks to Barnaby, Rosie, Oreo, Philip and their handlers for sharing their love and comfort.

Therapy Partners loves supporting the students and faculty at UAH during Finals week. Every year, multiple teams visit with anxious students at the library and give them a chance to relax with our therapy animal teams. Not pictured here were Cherie and Wrigley.

Students at Oakwood University welcomed our therapy dogs during their Final Exams to help them cope with stressors. Faculty and staff also appreciate time with our sweet pups.

Therapy animals like Jackson bring joy to hospital rooms, reducing perception of pain, helping patients heal faster, and making their stay more enjoyable. Jackson and his chauffeur/handler Beth visit at Crestwood Medical Center.

Halloween is lots of fun, but remember to keep your pets safe. Keep candy out of their reach and make sure you have a plan to keep them from running out the door when you greet Trick-or-Treaters. A crate or a leash can help keep them safe! Make sure they have identification on their collars, just in case!

A heartfelt congratulations to our teams that passed their Pet Partners evaluations in October! We have two renewing teams and one new team who will bring comfort and joy to our area through the human-animal bond.
