Abercrombie Radiology At our free-standing diagnostic facility, we serve our patients and referring physicians by providing accurate radiological interpretations.

In 1925, Dr. Eugene Abercrombie recognized the growing need for out-patient care and responded by establishing Knoxville's first outpatient radiology office. The facility was known not only as the first of its kind, but also as the first in quality imaging and patient care. The same still holds true today. From our fully accredited Breast Center to our state-of-the-art 1.5 tesla MR scanner, Abercrombie's team of board certified radiologists set the standard of excellence you would expect from an institution with so many years of experience. At our free-standing diagnostic facility, we serve our patients and referring physicians by providing accurate radiological interpretations in a caring environment that preserves each patient's dignity and self respect. There are no exceptions — just as there are no substitutes for the level of knowledge, experience and clinical expertise we provide on a daily basis. It is all a part of being the first — the first in imaging and the first in patient care.
