Preparing for surgery? Here’s what not to do before your procedure. A few small steps can make a big difference in your recovery and results 🙅‍♀️⬇️

💊 Don’t take certain medications or supplements.
Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and herbal supplements like fish oil or vitamin E — they can increase bleeding risk.

🚭 Don’t smoke or v**e.
Ni****ne slows healing and increases risk of complications, it’s best to stop at least a few weeks before surgery.

🍷 Don’t drink alcohol.
Alcohol can interfere with anesthesia and cause dehydration, skip it for at least 48 hours before surgery.

💪 Don’t ignore pre-op instructions.
Whether it’s fasting, washing with antibacterial soap, or arranging a ride home, following directions helps everything go smoothly.

😴 Don’t skip rest and hydration.
Go into surgery well-rested and hydrated… your body heals best when it’s cared for.
