And just like that, we’ve wrapped up 2025 at Karns Vision Center. 🎉 What a year it’s been.

Professionally, we grew in big ways. We transitioned to a new practice management system, launched online contact ordering, welcomed 6 new team members, celebrated two 10-year work anniversaries, and have cheered on 6 former employees in optometry school.

Personally, this year was just as full. Engagements. Weddings. New homes. And FOUR babies welcomed into the KVC family (with more on the way 🤍)

This team shows up every day with heart, dedication, and a genuine love for our patients. We are so proud of what we’ve built together.

And while we’re closing out 2025, we’re already looking ahead…we truly believe the best is still to come. Let’s just say, 2026 has something extra special coming down the Pike. 😁 A huge thank you to our incredible team and amazing patients who make this all possible ✨

Dr. Shane, Dr.Michelle, and their staff are a close-working team dedicated to meeting the vision care needs of the people of Knoxville. With over 35 years combined experience in Optometry, Karns Vision Center is here to meet all your eyecare needs: from glasses and contacts to the treatment and management of ocular diseases. We offer specialty lens fittings for keratoconus and bifocal contact lenses. We believe that no one is ever too old to try contacts for the first time! We routinely treat red eyes, dry eye conditions, corneal foreign bodies, and many other conditions of the eyes and eyelids. We have the latest in OCT technology to aid in the early detection of glaucoma and retina disease, such as diabetic retinopathy. We also offer comanagement in LASIK and cataract surgery.
