Excellent message from an excellent organization.

Healing isn't a quick fix. It's a journey. Long-term, depth-based therapy allows for deep exploration, lasting change, and building a truly resilient self. True growth comes from understanding the roots of our patterns, building healthier connections, and embracing our authentic selves. PsiAN believes the work extends beyond symptom management. Depth-oriented psychotherapy fosters lasting change by addressing core relational patterns: • Understanding the impact of past experiences • Building secure attachment • Developing emotional regulation • Cultivating self-awareness Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful outcomes. 26 year private practice specializing in psychotherapy grounded in theory and research on treatment, relationships, child development, and mental health problems. I'm committed to those I work with and open to all walks of life. I listen closely with curiosity to identify deep emotional blind spots to help you make sense of the troubles you are having. Discovering these deeper roots of your problems and symptoms will not only give you a different perspective of the obstacles and trauma in your life, it will reduce emotional pain, and help you feel more control in your life.

I work with adults and adolescents with a range of problems: anxiety, depression, compulsions, addictions, relationships, confidence, motivation, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, ADHD, trouble coping with stress, loss, and trauma, etc. I also specialize in evaluations for diagnosis, court, fitness-for-duty as well as clinical consultation/supervision.

Licensed clinical psychologist since 1999, received my doctorate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1997 and completed a clinical psychology internship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Mental Health Center in 1997. Former part-time Assistant Professor at UT, Knoxville. Member of several local and national professional organizations.
