Day 5 of our Year in Growth goes to our families🤍

We have been privileged to reach so many families this year… a 35% increase from 2021. Each family has touched us uniquely. To be a part of their stories is a gift that we never take for granted.

We are committed to caring. Caring for families and their babies through pregnancy, delivery & beyond. Ensuring that we walk alongside them— every family will know they have the support of the Neonatal Comfort Care Team.
This commitment will continue long past 2022, 2023 and beyond!

Day 3 of our Year in Growth is for celebrating! Our beloved Nurse Fran McCarthy received the 2023 Ilene Beal Courageous Provider Award and we couldn’t be more proud to have such an amazing nurse on our team!

This award honors a pediatric provider who provides exceptional family-centered care in circumstances of serious illness. It highlights Fran’s compassion, empathy and commitment to families facing illness and loss.

For many families whose babies were born still, lived for a short time or only lived in the NICU… Fran has been by their sides, held their hands, cried with them, and attended their funerals. Fran’s presence is like a warm embrace. When caring for any baby whose life may be short or hasn’t yet begun, one can only hope that a nurse like Fran will be there for them.

We are so proud and unbelievably excited for you Fran! We know how much you deserve this honor💙

BIG Friday mood for part 2 of “The Secret Life or NICU Babies”

Escape plan!! Our mischievous little NICU babies are ready for the weekend 🙌🏽 so they’re finally going to make a break for it! Although, at first they didn’t realize that hospital windows don’t open (oops), they quickly found another way to sneak out. No sleepy friends and definitely no snacks left behind!! See you all on the outside! 👋🏽

We know that life in the NICU comes with a lot of mixed emotions— especially love and fear. So we take any chance we can get to just laugh a little and continue on through the some of those really tough times. Thank you NICU nurses for your continued dedication to our special babies💝 (even if they want to escape)
