Time to time, we hear the news that seafarers are stranded without any money with outstanding wages | Then most of the companies these days deny their part in supporting seafarers after a medical sign off, Disability due to an accident, standby wages, etc. | And adding salt to the injury, their fleet personnel managers demands loyalty from seafarers, which is a very lofty expectation. On the face, all can assure them of their loyalty but trust deficit remains, as it is.

So How & What should be actions and plans of a responsible ship management company to bridge such gaps and how the seafarers can save themselves from such unscrupulous Shipping companies.
