What’s this tool? It’s shockwave therapy – an advanced treatment we use in physical therapy to accelerate healing. This non-invasive technology delivers targeted acoustic waves to injured tissue, helping to stimulate blood flow, promote tissue repair, and reduce pain.

Shockwave therapy is commonly used for conditions like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, Achilles tendinopathy, and other long-standing overuse injuries.

If pain has been limiting your movement or slowing your recovery, shockwave therapy may help you heal faster and get back to the activities you love. Reach out to learn more!

Why It Works Wednesday

Pain, stiffness, or deconditioning can change how people move during activity. Your physical therapist assesses patterns to guide care focused on comfort and tolerance.
✅ Tip: The goal is easier movement, not perfect form.

For patients living with osteoarthritis, objective strength and movement assessments guide a safe, effective, and individualized rehabilitation program. By analyzing joint function, weight distribution, and areas of weakness or compensation, we can reduce joint stress, improve stability, and slow symptom progression.

Using cutting edge ForceDecks technology, we can track measurements over time, adjust exercises appropriately, support joint health, and help you move with less pain, more confidence, and greater ease in daily activities.

A big milestone for our patient at Prime Fitness Physical Therapy 👟✨
After a fall while ice skating that resulted in a tibia and fibula fracture — followed by surgery with internal fixation — today was her first time walking in sneakers again.

Just last week, she was in a boot, using a rolling walker.
Today, we focused on improving her walking mechanics, rebuilding strength, and restoring confidence with every step. The progress has been incredible.

Moments like this — seeing determination turn into real movement — never get old.
