Couple of years ago we took a massive hit when things went wrong for us at the Hospital and the years that followed...life events will always happen and change the course you're on....what didn't change was how we felt it went down....we were turned away by many people..for many reasons..racing the clock it looked like no one will help us and we will never have a chance....I went public on social media and we were referred to a law firm.. they took our case...they believed in us. Two years later (thanks to covid) we got what we wanted...our day in court.

For the last two weeks we were in trial finally telling our story to a jury.....this morning they came back with a verdict in our favor..
WE WON!!!

I want to thank the amazing people at SINGER DAVIS for the incredible job they did..not one complaint on how everything was handled....the guidance...the love and respect they gave us...most of all they picked up a sword and fought for us without ever backing down ...these guys are the BEST at what they do and as human beings... Randy, Kevin, Rosalyn, Maryam and the rest of their team, we will always consider you as heroes and family.

Low Iron in the blood = High Risk for blood clots. She's anemic. Look at her numbers drop prior to surgery 3/7/19. Connection to her ongoing bilateral pain or coincidence?

In tears numbness and pain down her legs and feet.

Blood clots from Hysterectomy surgery?

Prior leg pain issue she has been to ER for and sees a Orthopedic. Treated with pain meds

6 hours later a test was finally done and blood clots were discovered. First time anyone checks for dvt/pe

6 hours later...36 days after first ER visit.

It's all connected.

It is advised to contact a Doctor if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.....we told her nurse hours after surgery when her pain level went to 10. An arterial test was done 6hrs later.

In the state of Virginia you have 2 years to file suit for medical malpractice. We have now passed the one year mark 1/28/2019. Over 30 law firms have turned us down for multiple reasons...The main one being that this case is "complicated".

On this page you'll see how These Medical Providers Deviated from the standard of care with her misdiagnosis and treatment. Common symptoms were missed and stranded test were not ordered which led to on going life threatening issues til today in 2020.

On February 6 and February 26 Gloria followed up with her Orthopedic Doctor with her ongoing complaints of bilateral pain in both her legs and feet. She went to the ER in January. The Orthopedic Doctor asked if the hospital checked for DVT/ Blood clots as he was squeezing her calf.
Her response was no, and this Doctor did not check also. He diagnosed her with gout and bursitis in both hips. Treated her with steroids. He was aware of her upcoming surgery.....no other test on her legs/hips/toes were done besides squeezing her calf and asking her if the ER checked for blood clots.

Brucitis and Gout., which he did none.

Coincidence she was complaining of bilateral pain in both her legs and feet and ends up with bilateral fasiomties and toe amputations?

On January 28 I took Gloria to the hospital Emergency Room. She had been suffering from ongoing pain in her hips down to her feet and couldn't take it anymore. The only test done was an xray on her lower back. We kept addressing the fact that the pain was in her hips down to her toes. The Doctor told us he couldn't find anything and said it could be a sciatic nerve. Gave her a pain med told to follow up with a doctor on discharge.

Her xray result in the picture show his findings were mild to moderate.
Coincidence she was complaining about bilateral pain in her legs and feet and she ends up with bilateral fasiomties and amputations due to blood clots? The Hospital was aware of her upcoming surgery.

In Virginia for malpractice you have to prove they deviated from the standard of care.
We are now running out of time to hold those accountable who caused these life long damages to her.
