Our upcoming fasting dates for this April month is written here . We should do regular fasting every month on prescribed dates. In case if it is not possible to fast on an exact date then one can do either one day before of the main date or the next day of the main date. For family persons it is advised twice (Ekadashi) a month and for the whole timer acaryas and LFTs,all 4 fastings a month. One fasting is considered from one sunrise to the next day's sunrise without any food or water. More important thing after fasting is breaking the fast as per prescribed system. Prepare your lemon water with salt and drink the water to detoxify your body.If any feels any difficulty then one must consult someone who is experienced in doing fasting. Baba has advised us to follow/observe the fasting regularly because fasting helps in keeping good physical and mental health, strengthen the immune system and also for spiritual progress.

April 12 - Shukla Eka’dashi
April 16 - Purnima
April 26 - Kr’s’n’a Eka’dashi
April 30 - Ama’vas’ya’

“.....What is Anudhyána? Both Prańidhána and Anudhyána come within the scope of Dhyána, come within the scope of Abhidhyána. “Tasyábhidhyánát”. I said Abidhyána. Abhidhyána means that you have accepted that Supreme Self as your object of ideation, but suppose your Lord does not want you, suppose you are a sinner and your Lord does not want that you should get Him, He will try to dart away from you, but in that case you will have to chase Him mentally. This chasing of yours is called Anudhyána. You must say, “O my Lord, I may be a sinner but I won�t spare you, I must catch you”. When this mentality functions it is Anudhyána. So without anudhyána one cannot get Him......"- Baba
