Thought we were done adding passionate former surrogates with deep service and advocacy experience to our Case Management team? Not quite! Meet Tobi!
“Tobi is a mother of three and an experienced surrogate who is passionate about helping families grow through surrogacy. Having completed two journeys herself, she understands the emotional, logistical, and very human aspects of the process. She enjoys supporting both surrogates and intended parents as they navigate this unique path to parenthood.
Tobi’s academic and professional background has always focused on families and communities. Before joining Brownstone, she spent ten years working at a nonprofit organization supporting youth with developmental disabilities and other at-risk populations and their families. In that role, she helped individuals and families navigate complex systems and built strong skills in communication, coordination, and advocacy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Urban Social Work from the University of Amsterdam.
While living in the Netherlands, Tobi met her husband and the two started their family, shaping Tobi’s appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and family structures. Tobi now lives in New Hampshire with her husband and their three (wild) boys. When she isn’t driving them to or cheering them on at their many activities, her hobbies include staying active (always on the move!), exploring new places, traveling, and adventures with her family.”
