In recent months, a study published on the British Journal of Sports Medicine, researchers suggested that exercise can actually play an important role in fighting against sickness, more particularly against Covid-19. 🦠

According to the National Library of medicine, exercise helps increase the circulation of immune cells, which we need to stay healthy. 💪🏼 Exercising also helps reduce chronic inflammation and allows the body to release cytokines, important proteins that aid fighting off infections. Additionally, exercise helps our body release endorphins that contribute to mood boosts. 😎

A cozy, fall-inspired recipe for Sunday Morning breakfast in bed 🍂 ☕ SWIPE for ingredients 🥞

DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and sweet potato puree, then add eggs and vanilla.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.

Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. When butter is foamy, reduce heat to medium-low and ladle ½ cup of batter onto the skillet.

Cook until bubbles start to form up top and pancake is golden underneath, about 3 minutes, then flip and cook other side until golden, another 3 minutes.

Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with more butter, toasted pecans, and maple syrup. And ENJOY!
