△ If you identify a small, manageable step towards your goal/habit and master that step for weeks, if not months (maybe even longer depending on how big of a change it is is), and only after you’ve mastered that small change, move on to a loftier step, you have a far greater chance of being successful. I don’t know about you, but I am much more likely to continue doing something if I’m succeeding at it then if I’m failing.

had it so right when she sang 🎶 “I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad”💧🌹 Whenever I’m feeling a bit down, I reference the happiness list 📝 that I keep on my phone. It includes everyday bite-sized delights like the sound of my son’s giggles 🤭 the feel of Ziggy’s luxurious fur 🦊 the smell of a sweet flower 🌺 or of freshly ground coffee beans ☕️ and the comfort of really good hug 🐻 and then I don’t feel so bad 🙂.
