80 pounds, 6 months, and 2 rounds of the keto guide challenge. Weight loss is hard, but I choose hard every day compared to how I felt before this journey. Here are some things that helped me: stem. I literally need someone to be like: “eat this”. I’m not saying you need this to lose weight, it's just what I did. But find something that will keep you accountable, plan, plan, plan, and find your support system..
1. Intermittent fasting. I fast 16:8. This kept me on track, stopped my late night snacking and curbed my hunger/cravings.
2. I enjoyed the keto guide meal plans (don't come at me) I personally do better when I have to be accountable for something, when I don't have to stress about macros/calories, etc. And when I have a support system. I literally need someone to be like: “eat this”. I’m not saying you need this to lose weight, it's just what I did. 3. High protein keto. The keto guide is high protein keto and I didn't realize how much of a difference it really makes, I stayed full for much longer, had significantly less cravings and was satisfied after meals.
4. Walking!! Don't say you don't have time. I am a part time student, work full time and a mom of 3. You'll find the time if you want to.
5. Your mindset is everything!!! Stop setting weight goals!! Your goal to lose 30 pounds is counterproductive. Instead, set a goal to stick with something for X amount of weeks. Set a goal to walk 10k steps everyday. Set goals that better yourself and your health that has nothing to do with the number on the scale!
I hope these tips can help some people and motivate you to keep going. 💪
