Don’t forget to add these two things to your financial checklist.

1. The guaranteed standard issue (GSI) disability policy.

This policy does not look into your medical history, as long as you haven't been disabled or denied.

If you have pre-existing health conditions, it's recommended to get GSI because this policy will lapse within 90-180 days after your training.

2. A plan for your student loans.

Student loan payments will resume in the next few weeks.

Recent changes to federal student loan plans can be confusing. Make sure you understand all the requirements and have a solid student loan strategy in place.
