If you haven’t gotten a good night’s sleep in what feels like months, if not years, listen to this ‼️

In honor of Sleep Awareness Day, Alloy Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Sharon Malone explains why sleep disruption is so common in midlife. During perimenopause and menopause, changes in estrogen and progesterone can bring on symptoms like night sweats, anxiety, and frequent awakenings (all things that love to sabotage our ability to get a full nights rest!) The good news: addressing the root cause can help you start feeling better, sometimes faster than you might expect.

When estrogen drops in perimenopause and menopause, the genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) can show up.

As Alloy prescribing physician explains, that can mean urinary urgency, irritation, pain with s*x, or even discomfort with everyday activities like walking or sitting.

Local vaginal estrogen helps restore tissue health. And options like O-mazing support blood flow and arousal.

This Valentine’s Day, consider self-care that supports your long-term comfort, confidence, and s*xual well-being. Because feeling your best isn’t vanity, it’s health.

If you’re curious about treatment options like vaginal estrogen or O-mazing, connect with a menopause-expert doctor at with care delivered directly to your door.

Alloy co-Founders, and .molenaar didn’t meet with the idea of starting a company. They were each out on a walk with their dogs and stopped to chat, which eventually turned into more walks, swapping stories, and realizing how confusing, frustrating, and overlooked women in menopause were.

And they kept coming back to the same question: why does this feel so hard to figure out? Why are women expected to just push through it?

started there, with listening. With the belief that women deserve better information, real medical care, and solutions that actually work.

That one walk turned into Alloy Health.

Grateful they stopped. Grateful they listened. And especially grateful they didn’t assume the biggest chapter was already behind them because we know they're just getting started.
