According to the NYS Education Department, there are 3300 LMTs in the 5 boroughs. In this current political climate, that number can decide an election.

For the massage therapist, whether you are an employee or entrepreneur, this is the moment to be FULLY informed. All New York State massage therapists are encouraged to attend this informational to understand what they need to know about the current status of the profession in New York State to date and for the the NYC LMT, to be equipped as a fully informed voter because the stakes are that high. This is an informational (info-session) presented by NYSSMMT and no candidate will be endorsed. Our presentation is adding to your research that you should be doing.

1st General Election Debate: Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 7 p.m. on WNBC.

Leading Contender General Election Debate: Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 7 p.m. on NY1. This debate features a smaller group of candidates who meet a polling threshold.
