The yoga sutras are the underpinning of our entire practice. In this series with Lucienne Vidah, we will look at a few sutras and probe their application in asana.

Central concepts of Dharana (concentration) and Pratipaksha Bhavana (study of cultivation of the opposite) will be addressed.

These classes can be taken individually, however, the program is designed as a full series.

Yoga practice reminds us that our body is as natural as a tree, a dog, or a mountain. When we connect to our natural state in body and mind, we feel the ease that is our birthright.

In this workshop with Carolyn Christie we will tap into our mind’s reflective quality to perceive its nature. In asana and pranayama we will activate and coordinate our body and breath to experience the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) while we work with stability, mobility, temperature, location, and sensation.
