Who is Dr Leal:

I’m a Cuban-born and trained physician whose journey has been defined by resilience, faith, and purpose. I graduated during the COVID-19 pandemic, caring for patients amid scarce resources and learning the true meaning of service and adaptability.

After immigrating to the U.S., I rebuilt my career while earning ECFMG certification and now work in Miami as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Medical Assistant. Each day, I witness the impact of compassion, communication, and prevention in patient care.

Family Medicine reflects everything I believe in: treating the person as a whole and building lifelong connections through education and holistic care.

I’m currently applying in the 2026 Match cycle to pursue Family Medicine residency training in the United States.
