Mehret Bar came to be with the input of three Chek Practioners: Gigi Barlowe Chek II, HLCIII; Jon Bowskill Chek Faculty and John Marsh Ex Coach, HLCII. Gigi's practice leads her to seek better nutrition for her clients and even more so for herself and her family. All the good tasting bars were lacking nutritional impact or propriety. ve the health of sedentary office workers under serious job related stress. It was time to get busy. I like chocolate, nuts, pomegranate and salt, and I love my 9 year old daughter, Mehret. I wanted to make sure that I created a bar that would not only be good for myself, but also good for my daughter. My wife Gigi and I adopted her from Ethiopia 8 years ago and life has been more vivid and colorful every day since. We decided to name the bar after her.
