Dr. Ditzell Psychiatry

Dr. Ditzell Psychiatry He tailors a treatment plan specific to each individual patient. It's not what you typically see in a doctor's office.

Every individual is different, and with that in mind Dr. Ditzell spends time getting to know his patients, their struggles, their goals, their preferences, and their expectations. Dr. Ditzell Psychiatry is a psychiatry practice located in the heart of the lower manhattan on Broadway in New York City. We treat patients for depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, addiction, and more. Offers a range of services including therapy, ketamine treatment, life coaching, medication management, medical marijuana, family therapy, couples counseling, telepsychiatry, ketamine therapy, and more. Our goal and vision are to provide each patient with an extra level of care & compassion around NYC. With appointments available after hours, on weekends, and including holidays.Dr. Ditzell is one of the leading psychiatrists in New York City, and one thing that sets him apart from others in his field is the way he treats his clients. He treats them in a way that lets them know that they are more than their diagnosis. With each client he sees, he wants to improve their quality of life, instead of just relying on medications. All of the services he offers are tools that can help manage the now, and also help them prepare for a better future. That's why the office located in the heart of the financial district was designed the way it was. It was completely designed with the client in mind. Being able to allow them to be seen in a place where they feel most comfortable. Most of his clients will tell you: that Dr. D just does things differently.

Today, we honor all who have served and continue to serve our country.

We are especially grateful for our own Dr. Jeff Ditzell, who has dedicated over 20 years to serving Soldiers in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Ditzell was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service as Division Psychiatrist in Tikrit, Iraq, during deployment in 2005.

His military background continues to shape his approach to performance psychiatry — emphasizing mental resilience, leadership, and helping others overcome challenges.

Happy Veterans Day!

Our passion lies in helping people elevate their dreams and unlock their full potential.

Recently, our team had the privilege of hosting a retreat with Jim Murphy, author of Inner Excellence. Together, we explored ways to help you perform at your highest level and recognize the incredible power within you. If you haven’t yet read Inner Excellence, especially after seeing AJ Brown reading it before last year’s Eagles game viral moment, we highly recommend giving it a read.

Today, we’re thrilled to support Jim as he throws the first pitch at the Phillies vs. Mets game! We hope to see you there or catching the action live.

Dr. Ditzell shares the joy in helping others elevate their dreams with author of Inner Excellence Jim Murphy.
