About Dr. Marc Everett
Dr. Marc Everett, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a native New Yorker and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who brings compassion, attention to detail, an artistic eye and endless intellectual curiosity to his work. These qualities combine for him to create beautifully-crafted, individualized artistic results for his patients, while maintaining the utmost emphasis on patient safety. Dr. Everett is a rising star in aesthetic plastic surgery and has earned respect from the academic community with numerous achievements and has been recognized for innovative ideas in the field and strict adherence to patient safety principles. As a result of his dedication to researching improved techniques and better ways to take care of patients, he has been invited to teach his innovative principles and methods internationally — including in Israel and Japan — as well as across the United States.
Dr. Everett graduated amongst the top of his medical school class and subsequently began his post-graduate training by completing a residency in general surgery where he grew up in New York. He then went on to complete a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Philadelphia. Propelled by his accolades, Dr. Everett was invited to cap off nine years of formal surgical training in Houston, Texas at the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery endorsed fellowship. This additional training enabled Dr. Everett to hone his surgical skills under the tutelage of internationally recognized surgeons and also further specialize in his passion for patient safety.
Dr. Everett is a reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and publishes on topics in which he specializes. Most recently, Dr. Everett has published an article l detailing his safe and proven methods for the Brazilian Butt Lift demonstrated through an extensive track record. This manuscript was selected as the Editor’s Choice for its positive impact on the surgeons who read the article and perform the procedure as it is detailed in the article. His current research involves improving the safety of abdominoplasty by reducing blood loss during and after surgery. His other areas of interest include breast augmentation, pain management strategies, surgical technology and resident/fellow education.
Recognized for his insight into the proper healing processes of body contouring patients, Dr. Everett has consulted for the Marena Group to help them design improved compression garments for the Marena Recovery line. In addition, he is a member of The Aesthetic Society’s Product Development & Market Research Committee which advocates for plastic surgery practices to increase their cybersecurity to protect their patients private information.
