What an honor to have Dr Merhi featured in National Geographic

SUMMARY: There are zero studies looking at GLP-1 drugs and their impact on fertility, egg/uterine quality or menstruation in women without Polycystic O***y Syndrome, explains Dr. Merhi. He notes that while trending drugs like Semaglutide and others may help with metabolic health, the idea that they magically boost fertility isn’t backed by evidence—only anecdotal stories so far. He also warns that delaying a proper fertility evaluation just because a patient is told to “go lose weight and come back” can cost precious time. At his clinic, he encourages couples to get a full fertility workup early—don’t use weight loss alone as an excuse to postpone treatment.
