We honor and grieve the trans lives lost to HIV/AIDs, transphobia, and gender-based violence. Across the country, trans and gender non-conforming (GNC) people are made to fear for their safety, with policies that promote hate and discrimination. We mourn for the lives lost, and fight for those still will us.
Trans lives are not an afterthought, and none of us are safe until all of us are.

Meet Simone! One of our lovely health educators ✨

Simone, she/her, holds her B.A. in Social Studies and is currently a Postbac Premed Student at Columbia!

The people were what drew her to Project STAY - in addition to the meaningful mission, it was clear from the very beginning that the people at Project STAY are incredibly kind, empathetic, and incredible listeners. Those are the best people to work with and learn from!

Outside of schoolwork and Project STAY, Simone likes to run, read, and spend time with friends.
