Dr. Bill Bauer attended this event and made a powerful speech about accepting and supporting mental illness and people with disabilities. He also refernced FranAlleman-Luce, Jim Luce's child psychologist mother, who mentored him.

Our 24th annual autumn awards evening was a great success with more than 250 people arriving to explore the new complete playground before opening. The Complete Playground is a 40,000 square-foot inclusive and educational place space for all children, including those of diverse needs. We were delighted to have exceptional musicians, including a 2016 Luce Young Global Leader with autism who came back eight years later to perform. The night was simply phenomenal. We have been in the Harvard Club, the Yale Club, the Princeton Club, China Institute, the Americas Society, the Asia Society and consulates too numerous to mention, but nothing ever was anything like Complete Playground!
