Every year International Human Rights Day is recognized to commemorate the creation of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, established by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on December 10, 1948. The document enshrines human rights for all people regardless of age, race, gender, religion, language, nationality, birth or other status.

As a community-based organization serving those impacted by the criminal legal system, people with mental health needs, and underserved youth, CASES strongly believes in every person's universal right to health care, wellness and opportunity.
