POP. CLICK. LOCK.
While stretching my knee, I suddenly heard a crack — followed later by a feeling that the knee would briefly lock and then release with a click when I straightened it.
Most often, this pattern suggests irritation or a small flap of the medial meniscus, the cartilage that cushions the knee joint.
The body responds with inflammation and fluid, which is why the knee can feel heavy or swollen along the medial joint line.
So today I decided to treat it the way I treat many of my patients — using regenerative medicine.
In this video I show how I performed a medial intra-articular injection of exosomes into the knee joint to help reduce inflammation and support healing of the synovium and cartilage.
The goal is not just to suppress symptoms, but to help the joint restore balance and recover faster.
After the injection I’ll focus on:
• gentle movement
• avoiding deep flexion
• allowing the joint to calm down over the next few days
Medicine isn’t just something I practice on patients — sometimes we become our own case study.
I’ll keep you posted on the recovery.
At we believe that regeneration and prevention go hand in hand.
