Dr. Radhakrishnan graduated from the accelerated combined Bachelor of Arts-Doctor of Medicine program at Rutgers University and Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (now New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai), where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He then completed a two-year medical and surgical retina fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine at Jacksonville.

Dr. Radhakrishnan has presented research at national meetings and authored multiple scientific articles on topics including retinopathy of prematurity, novel diagnostic modalities, retinal vein occlusions and diabetic macular edema. He has also served as a peer reviewer for major journals.

Dr. Radhakrishnan is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American College of Surgeons.
