We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy private medical practice in Greenpoint Brooklyn. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Teamwork is important in our practice, and we are looking to hire someone full-time to provide efficient and adequate care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Record vitals, triage patients, document chief complaint in EMR system
Perform routine clinical tasks and minor procedures to support providers
Verify insurances and schedule appointments
Es**rt patients to exam rooms
Phlebotomy, IV therapy, immunizations and EKG
Keep track of inventory
​Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
Familiarity with electronic EMR
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with team members
Motivated and hard-working
