How to Squat Like a PT 🏋🏻

If you’re coming back from an injury, your PT might have you modify your squat depth or stance for a bit. Everyone’s body and recovery timeline are different, so focus on your version of progress.

✅ Good way: staying above parallel, slight hip hinge back, and neutral spine to keep movement pain-free and controlled.

💯 Best way: getting deeper into your squat while keeping your chest tall, hips tracking over your heels, knees tracking slightly over toes, and core braced. This improves mobility, builds strength through a fuller range of motion, and keeps your spine supported.

What a turnout 🤩 We had a packed house with hands-on treatments and real education.
From gua sha and ear seeding, to physical therapy tools, mobility screens, and expert-led talks, everyone got to experience practical wellness they can actually take home with them.

How to Foam Roll Like a PT 🧠

If you’re recovering from an injury, your PT might actually have you do things a little differently. That’s because we’re often targeting specific muscles or avoiding certain areas to let tissue heal properly. So always follow the cues your therapist gives you.

✅ Good way: rolling up and down the IT band or large muscle groups for general mobility.
💯 Best way: skip rolling directly on the IT band and instead keep your motion smaller, slower, and more focused. This helps isolate one muscle at a time, which means better results and less irritation!
