Exercise ex*****on is crucial because proper form directs tension to the target muscles, prevents injuries, and maximizes results (like muscle growth) by ensuring quality over just quantity (weight/reps). Poor ex*****on uses momentum or other muscles, creating “junk volume” that doesn’t challenge the intended muscle, leading to injury, plateaus, longer recovery, and wasted effort. Making form a prerequisite when exercising is a life changing commitment… and leads to a higher level of postural awareness!

Wheel! 💪🏼🛞
Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana) is a backbend that holds a resemblance to a wheel. It requires building up strength and flexibility to achieve it. It opens the chest, shoulders, and hips to counteract the typical modern-day sitting posture.

Benefits of Wheel Pose:
1. Increases the flexibility of the body.
2. Strengthens the bones and muscles of the body and is mainly beneficial in strengthening the legs.
3. Strengthens the respiratory system as by doing it, the chest enhances, and the lungs get oxygen to its fullest.
4. Relieves all the stress and tension as it strengthens the nervous system and refreshes the brain.
5. Helpful in reducing a bloated belly.
6. Beneficial for the digestive system, gastric problems, and all female reproductive system disorders.
7. Ensures better heart, liver, spleen, and kidney functioning.

A new center of gravity: When performing an inversion such as a headstand, handstand, or forearm stand, you shift your body’s center of gravity. This requires intense focus, core engagement, and full-body awareness to learn how to stabilize yourself in an unfamiliar position.

Building strength and control: To achieve and hold an inversion, you must build significant strength in your core, shoulders, and arms. This controlled physical effort directly translates to improved balance and coordination, even when you’re right-side up.

Mental focus: An inversion can help improve concentration and focus. The act of balancing upside down requires clearing the mind of distractions, which can lead to a sense of calm and centeredness.
