While for many, the holiday season is made up of heartwarming moments and joy-filled memories, for others this time of year can create challenges and put a strain on mental wellness.

Navigating difficult family dynamics and strained relationships, being thrown off of your routine, (e.g., fitness regimen, healthy diet, sleep schedule, etc.), financial strain (e.g., travel costs, social events, gifts, etc.) can lead to feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. 🪫

Shorter days, busier schedules, and energy on “E”. It sounds like winter is here! ❄️

If you’ve noticed that your mood is dipping or your motivation is getting harder to tap into, you’re not alone.

Here are 5 quick tips to help you stay grounded, energized, and mentally well this season.
Take care of your mental health without adding anything else to your packed schedule!

🔹Get natural sunlight, as early in the morning as possible.
🔹Use a sunlight therapy lamp (try adding it to your desk or workspace)
🔹Create a Winter Wellness routine. Think workouts you actually enjoy, a weekly therapy session, a slow morning ritual, or a designated mid-week reset evening. Structure reduces overwhelm and decision fatigue.
🔹Be intentional about seeking Daily Joy. Light your favorite candle, find an evening hobby, schedule a weekly coffee date, or take a walk on your lunch break.
🔹Prioritize sleep. Be consistent with a sleep schedule!
