Join Usui Reiki Master, Laura Cerrano, for a virtual community Reiki Healing Circle. Each gathering is dedicated to holding a safe space for releasing, sharing, reconnecting, healing, and restoring on an individual and global level. Each Reiki circle provides the group with an initial check-in, followed by a Reiki-guided meditation and healing to support the clearing and rebalancing of the chakras and auric bodies.

Pre-registration and payment are due before attending the virtual Reiki Healing Circle. Once payment is received, that will officially confirm your registration.

After payment has been processed, a ZOOM link will be emailed to you.

Feng Shui Manhattan has evolved significantly over the years, expanding its offerings beyond traditional Feng Shui services. We also provide wellness programs that support both the body and mind. Our approach includes a range of healing arts, such as dance, music-making programs (sound healing and drum circles), Reiki healing, meditation, and geopathic stress dowsing. Any of these programs can be customized for private and public events.

Yesterday, I enjoyed facilitating the Rhythm Sprouts Toddler Drum Circle at the Locust Valley Library in NY. The event offered a lively and engaging multisensory experience through drumming, movement, and singing! As a group, we explored tempo changes, dance and freeze drumming games, call and response drum patterns, story time with music making, and free-style drumming where parents/guardians and toddlers could drum to their heart's desire :)

To conclude the drum circle session, I introduced the group to the handpan, or as they referred to it, the "spaceship". The intention of this was to welcome in calming sounds. After playing the handpan, I invited some of our young drummers to play the handpan using a soft mallet. Those who participated did a great job sharing the opportunity to play with their fellow drummers and were very respectful of the instrument.

All drums and smaller percussion instruments are provided for each session. Registration allows one drum per caregiver/toddler.
We are in the process of scheduling additional Rhythm Sprouts Toddler Drum Circle sessions. Once we have that confirmed, I'll be sure to share!

In the meantime, we do have a K-2nd-grade drum circle program scheduled for May 6th, 2026, from 4-5pm.

Fun Insight: According to the solar calendar, the Fire Horse began on February 4th, 2026.

What's the difference between the lunar and solar calendars? The lunar calendar is based on the cycles of the moon, while the solar calendar is based on the agricultural or farmer’s (Hsia) calendar, which marks the hours, days, and minutes it takes the Earth to complete an entire orbit around the sun. To further expand upon this, there is also the lunisolar calendar, which combines monthly lunar cycles with the solar year.

The practice of Feng Shui utilizes the lunisolar calendar to track the flying stars of a home (building astrology - identifying the natal chart, annual and monthly changes), Bazi charts (personal astrology), determining auspicious dates (Date Selection), and implementing adjustments.

Happy Valentine's Day! While in the grocery store this morning, I enjoyed the fun observation of watching hordes of men rushing to the flower department, LOL!

Last night, we wrapped up a three-part in-person workshop on the Introduction to Geopathic Stress Dowsing at Dreams West in Sea Cliff, NY. Students explored the fascinating history of dowsing and learned essential techniques for selecting and using L-rods and pendulums. The class covered important safety tips for dowsing both in-person and remotely. Participants also engaged in hands-on practice, allowing them to experience the art of dowsing firsthand and gain confidence in their newfound skills. It was an enlightening and enjoyable experience for everyone involved!

During our time together, we also branched into the discussion of Feng Shui, given that the solar new year is today! Happy New Year of the Fire Horse! I briefly introduced the group to certain Feng Shui principles, methodologies (i.e., flying stars, intuitive Feng Shui, Feng Shui New Year rituals, etc).

I'm happy to share we have a 3-part in-person Feng Shui workshop scheduled at Dreams West for April 14th, 21st, and 28th, 2026, from 7-9PM. Registration and workshop details TBA. We are also in the process of scheduling another series of Geopathic Stress workshops.

Intention is another word for establishing a clear focus. This is a vital part of adopting the feng shui lifestyle. Why? Because your thoughts, spoken words, and habits contribute to your overall life experiences.

This is the first step in providing a Feng Shui consultation, designed to help clients reflect on the present moment and plant seeds of intention for the future. It’s important to clarify that intentions are not a “wish list”. Think of intentions as a mental honing tool to help refine your focus on what is truly important within your personal and professional interactions. The lunar new year of the fire horse is upon us, beginning February 17th, 2026. Now is the time to prepare yourself and home for the new energy that is rapidly approaching.

Part of that preparation begins with becoming aware of what the Fire Horse has in store for this year. It's said to be a beneficial year for the arts, music, entertainment, beauty, and sports. Fire element can offer an optimistic feeling, with drawbacks of quick tempers, impulsiveness, and taking action without careful planning.

People may have more confidence to spend money on necessities, extracurricular activities and enjoyments, such as with travel. There is a lot of talk about 2026 being an intense year in the form of strong transformation, truthfulness, and not being afraid to release what no longer serves you. To better navigate this type of intensity, it’s recommended to be clear with your focuses so you can better direct the energy of 2026 to help define what thrives.

Tis the season for gathering with friends and family 🙂 December is a busy time for holiday drum circle and reiki sound healing party requests!

I was at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum this past weekend to facilitate a reiki/sound healing experience at a High Tea holiday-birthday party gathering. They also had a meditation expert, magician and DJ on the roster. Fun times!!
