October was one for the books 🍂

This month reminded me just how full life can be when you choose to really live it.

✈️From Florida to Maine in the same week — surprising my dad for his 70th birthday 🎉 and soaking in family time.

🧘🏽‍♀️Celebrating our 3rd annual Women’s Passport to Wellness 💕 — still in awe that something that started as an idea continues to touch lives every year.

🏋🏽‍♀️ CoveFit Crew Bootcamp — watching this community get stronger together fills me with so much pride.

💕All things breast cancer awareness — walks, campaigns, and conversations that remind me why I do this work.

⛳️Golf, golf, and more golf — even Top Golf, because joy and movement can look like so many things.

👑Drag Queen Bingo — laughter really is medicine.

🥊Boxing with my ambitious women’s group — always inspired by the fire these women carry.

🙏🏾So much gratitude for the people, moments, and memories that keep me grounded in purpose and joy. 💗

If you’ve been waiting for a sign — this is it:
Schedule your mammogram. Take the trip. Live boldly.

✨ Behind every runway moment is a tribe that makes it possible. ✨

NYFW will always be unforgettable, but what made it truly special was having my family and friends right there with me. These are the people who have been part of my entire journey, and I’m so grateful they were here to witness it—especially my two aunts, both breast cancer survivors and my fellow bresties. 💕

The runway was amazing, but the real spotlight belongs to those who cheer the loudest, love the hardest, and keep me grounded through it all.

Every picture, every hug, every smile in this post is a reminder that dreams are even sweeter when you don’t chase them alone. Thank you to my tribe for showing up for me in every way. ✨

✨ This isn’t just fashion—it’s survival, activism, and truth. ✨

In less than a week, I’ll be walking in New York Fashion Week’s Body of Resistance Show. For me, this isn’t only about stepping onto a runway—it’s about stepping into a mission.

When I was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer before my 36th birthday, my world changed overnight. Bilateral mastectomy. Reconstruction. Chemotherapy. A fight that left scars, but also sparked my purpose.

Walking this runway is about showing those scars proudly—not as weakness, but as proof of resilience.

It’s also deeply personal. On September 14th, I’ll walk the runway for my aunts, who for years hid their diagnoses, their bald heads, and still feel shame because of their scars. The beautiful thing? They’ll be right there in the front row, watching.

It’s the same reason I became a cancer coach. To help survivors not just get through treatment, but to rebuild their health, reclaim their strength, and declare: I won.

Meet AnaOno, the chest-inclusive intimate apparel brand founded by Dana Donofree, a breast cancer survivor with a background in fashion design and a heart-steered mission.

After her own mastectomy and reconstruction, Dana couldn’t find bras that were both comfortable and beautiful. Instead of accepting “traditional,” she redesigned lingerie to fit newly healed bodies—no matter how those bodies had changed.

AnaOno is more than fashion—it’s a statement: “Designed differently. Because we are.” It’s about supporting every chest, every body, and every story.

It’s also about sisterhood and giving back: a portion of proceeds funds organizations like Living Beyond Breast Cancer, empowering a movement of healing through design.

I’m honored to walk the runways alongside their message of empowerment and visibility.

Part 2: From “No” to Runway Yes

✨ In June 2024, I attended the Survive & Thrive event in Montclair, where I met Dana, the founder of . I didn’t know then that attending this event would lead me all the way to New York Fashion Week.

Earlier that year, I had already applied to be a model for her brand. Then, in July, I saw the post about the Body of Resistance Show. I thought—it’s late, they probably already have their models—but I still sent a DM to both Dana and .

Cancer Culture replied that they were already booked. Dana offered a photo shoot opportunity, which I was so grateful for. But by the time we connected, a spot had opened—and suddenly, I was IN.

💡 Lessons from the Journey
✨ Keep showing up
✨ Ask — put yourself out there
✨ Let go — the right doors will open

Now, I’m honored to walk in New York Fashion Week’s Body of Resistance Show on September 14th.
