Bloodline Dance Theatre Co.

Bloodline Dance Theatre Co. Formerly known as Fierce Roots, Bloodline Dance Theater was created by Lamont Joseph as an arts collective for emerging Choreographers in New York City.

The company is comprised of several choreographers and over 20 dancers ranging from beginner to professional. The company focuses on creating ballets that are reflective of the modern issues as well as historical and religious concepts. To date, the company has performed for several NYC public schools , West Indian American Carnival Association, The Brooklyn Museum, The African Spirt Awards , St Paul's Baptist Church, The Thelma Hill performing arts center and countless performances at Medgar Evers College.

On Monday December 1st 2025 Bloodline Dance Theate will host a special commemoration event that will include special guest performers and speakers such as Alicia Kelly , Taylor Lovetts , Reverend Gale Jones and assemblywoman Stepanie Zinerman. We will also have a special screening of our documentary "Dance of the Good Death"
