Though he specializes in Reflux Disease and offers incisionless surgical procedures to control reflux – such as the EsophyX TIF (Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication) – Anthony also offers obesity treatments, especially to those who have undergone gastric surgery and regained weight as a result. Dr. Starpoli manages a broad spectrum of Gastrointestinal disorders, from Reflux to IBS. His practice is constantly adapting to new medical technologies and innovations, striving to offer the highest quality of state-of-the-art care. Among these is an interest and proficiency in endoscopic suturing for a nonsurgical correction of the gastric pouch for the management post-bypass weight regain as well as the insertion of intragastric balloons for primary weight loss. As over 2/3 of the US population is classified as overweight, Dr. Starpoli considers it extremely important to stay updated on the most recent medical developments in the management of obesity.
