✨Teacher Tuesday featuring ✨
At first, back in March I was so resistant to teaching online because it was different. I thought it would be less interactive... even awkward- BUT I have actually grown to really really enjoy it and am truly grateful for it!
We don't need the perfect spaces or fancy clothes and while I am a huge advocate for props it has forced me to get creative in offering suggestions of items that people already have to use as props- and it works. I've met long time students pets, partners, family members and friends. I've been in so many rooms of their house and even on vacation or relocation quarantine with them.
With this community, separated by physical space but together from our zoom squares we’ve celebrated marriages, babies, illness recoveries, mourned the loss of jobs, loved ones and relocations.
Spanning time zones we have breathed together, moved together and encouraged one another.
The practice of yoga reminds me that this practice is beyond poses but lives in the connection we create and nurture with every living being around us.
It’s an opportunity to breathe intentionally. Each breath is a expression of gratitude. For this moment, For this body, this existence, for one another and for our planet.
I am grateful to each and every person who has practiced in our physical space and in our virtual container. You each teach me, encourage me and inspire me more than you may know. I hope that this next year brings health, healing, happiness, and eventually shared spaces.
Join Emilie Mondays at 4pm Level 2 and Wednesdays at 4pm All Levels.
