Patient sometimes choose to downsize their implants when they reach new life stages. When the larger implant is removed or replaced with a smaller implant, Dr. Shafer also recommends a breast lift to remove excess and loose skin. Without the lift, the breast would be ptotic or sagging. This patient had 700cc saline implants replaced with 385cc silicone implants and mastopexy or breast lift.
