Executive Health patients are in the vanguard of 21st-century medicine. They have made a commitment to their health that should be met with a similar commitment. It is up to everyone to execute a program that has no equal and deliver on the promise of Life Extension.

When it comes to total health, success is measured by your ability to perform at work, enjoy life and the stability of your relationships. No executive can make decisions about his or her company's future without accurate reports from every department.

The same is true for your body. Instead of visiting numerous doctors to receive multiple reports about your health, Eric Braverman, MD, founder of PATH, designed the EHP program to give you a comprehensive, head-to-toe examination in one day.

Executive Health Program patients schedule visits because they believe in Dr. Braverman's PATH to Life Extension standard of prevention and early detection. They have made a decision to go beyond conventional medicine and insurance guidelines to receive the most advanced medical evaluation and health management available today. EHP patients also anticipate receiving state-of-the-art services, in an exclusive, private facility, and they expect a first-class experience from start to finish.

Using advanced computer diagnostic equipment, we can look everywhere in your body with pinpoint accuracy. Just as a weak link in your company can damage your organization, one missed disease can affect your entire health.

Our landmark approach combines Eastern philosophy with Western technology, integrating conventional medications, bio-identical hormone therapies and lifestyle/nutrition recommendations that give you the edge you need to live betterand longer.

I am quoted in the Inquirer "Anti-aging and the human growth hormone"
What can HGH do?
Improves sleep, sexual libido, cardiovascular function, the kidney’s ability to excrete waste, and controls bone mineral density and content, immune system, muscle mass and definition.

Oh to defy the ravages of time! Better yet, to counter the effects of gravity on the skin. Can it be done?

I am quoted in 'Diets in Review' in the article "How Dietary Supplements Effect Birth Control Efficacy"
"...it’s hard to know which ones will and won’t interfere with birth control…while there are countless dietary supplements on the market, a good way of measuring risk is identifying whether or not the supplement contains any of the following seven natural ingredients. If they do, they may have an effect on birth control efficacy….(read more)"

Controlling Hunger with Better Sleep

Have you ever had a restless night’s sleep and feel famished in the morning? The cause of your hunger is actually too little sleep. And the result from being overtired is that your body and your brain are primed to make two distinct but equally bad decisions:

No. 1: No Sleep = No motivation to Make Good Choices

First, when you wake up starving, you might reach for something easy and quick to eat. A high carb meal with no protein sets you up for a day of blood sugar fluctuations and temptation to reach for quick fixes high in sugar. All of which goes straight to your waistline. How to combat carb cravings through nutrient therapy is described in Younger (THINNER) YOU Diet book by Eric Braverman, MD.

No. 2: Poor Sleep Affects Your Internal Chemistry

Researchers are now discovering that sleep directly influences two key hormones that regulate satiety and hunger: Ghrelin and leptin! Elevated levels of ghrelin increase hunger while leptin acts as a hunger suppressant. Interestingly, serotonin is vital to regulating the brain’s response to both of these hormones.

Low serotonin = Low leptin = Increased hunger

If serotonin levels are low, your leptin levels will become low as well, and the message that you are full never reaches your brain, so you continue eating beyond your body’s calorically needs!
One study suggested that individuals who sleep less than 5 hours have significantly more ghrelin and significantly less leptin than those sleep at least eight hours. Learn how to eat your way to a better and deeper sleep in Younger (THINNER) You!
