Remembering A Legend Indeed.

Richard Pryor built his comedy empire on taboo words, but a trip to Africa left him in tears and vowing before millions that he would never use the N-word again. Richard Pryor, who built his comedy on raw, taboo language, including the "N-word" (used in the titles of two Grammy-winning albums: That Ni**er's Crazy and Bicentennial Ni**er), took a life-changing trip to Kenya in 1979. Observing the Black people there, who embodied dignity and self-respect, he was moved to tears. He publicly announced his vow to his millions of fans in his 1982 film, stating he "didn't see any 'n*s' over there," only "beautiful Black people." 🔗: https://cnews.topnewsource.com/?p=19111

The Jackson family has officially confirmed plans for a first-of-its-kind Michael Jackson Museum — a space designed to showcase never-before-seen artwork, personal memorabilia, and creative pieces spanning the King of Pop’s entire life.

But here’s the twist: the location still hasn’t been announced.

According to Jermaine Jackson, the family has assembled more than 200 pieces of Michael’s personal art and creative work, and they’re working with international partners — but the final site of the museum remains a closely guarded secret.

Early reports suggest the museum could land in Monaco, where the Jacksons have deep ties… but nothing is finalized. And with a project this iconic, cities around the world will likely want to compete for it.

This raises the big question: If you were choosing the location for the Michael Jackson Museum — where should it go? And why?

A lot of people will naturally say it should be in Gary, what do you think? Should it be built near where the Jackson 5 began their journey? In a global tourist hub with cultural pull? Or somewhere completely unexpected?

Truly A Legend Indeed.

Remembering the great Coleman Hawkins (November 21, 1904 – May 19, 1969)
“Coleman Hawkins instantly established authority when he took the stage, before he had even played a note. Though short of stature, he was a handsome, solidly built man, impeccably dressed, with an aura that commanded respect. And once he began to play, his sound alone sufficed to seduce or arouse the listener, depending on the mood and spirit of the music being made” – Dan Morgenstern, Living With Jazz
